Randy Foster, 62, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 28, 2025 in a Fayetteville hospital. He was born March 18, 1963 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Wilmer and Nila (Davison) Foster. He was employed by Planters Peanuts in the maintenance department and was of the Baptist faith.
He had a strong love for his family and adored his grandchildren. He loved NASCAR, fishing, hotrods and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved to garden and grow peppers. If he ever offered you one of his peppers, you had better have said no, because they were HOT. He liked snakes and had a terrible hatred for spiders. His fear of spiders was well known to his family and coworkers, and everyone got a kick out of making him jump. He and Brigitte liked to search YouTube and watch police chases.
He is survived by his wife, Brigitte Foster; one son, Mikael Foster of Concordia, MO; one brother, Don Foster and four grandchildren, Taryn Flurry, Brantley Foster, Taylor Foster and Hallie Foster. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Foster, sister, Belinda Eckle and his two best buddies, his little dogs, Mr. Peanut and Paco Man.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, September 2 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Ellsworth Cemetery in Subiaco. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brantley Foster, Taryn Flurry, Mikael Foster, Ric Gaines, David Posey and Don Faulkenberry.
