John Raymond Brasher

John Raymond Brasher, 78, of Greenwood, Arkansas, formerly of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025 in Greenwood. He was born February 4, 1947 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Carl and Bonnie (Goff) Brasher. He was retired from GCR Tire Company in Phoenix, Arizona.

He is survived by two daughters, Tammy Coates (Mark Jeffcoat) and Trisha Carlile (Billy Carlile); one son, John Brown; one brother, Wayne Brasher; five sisters, Sharon Brown, Vanessa Bishop, Lynn Brasher, Teresa Henderickson and Linda Creason; ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Brasher, one grandson, John Gipson and two brothers, Harold Brasher and Dayna Brasher.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
