Tom Koenigseder

Tom Koenigseder, 81, of Fort Smith, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born on November 24, 1943, in Scranton, AR to the late John Koenigseder and Bernadine Geels Koenigseder. Tom was a retired foreman with Fort Smith Rim and Bow. He served with the 188th Air National Guard. Tom was a devout Catholic; he attended St. Boniface Catholic Church. Tom loved to work in his garden. In addition to his parents, Tom is preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Koenigseder, a sister, Mary Zimmer, and a sister-in-law, Cindy Koenigseder.

He is survived by his daughter, Kim Nichols (Willie), and his son, Tommy Koenigseder (Paige), of Fort Smith; a sister, Jane Bieker (Charlie) of Fort Smith; four brothers, Joe Don Koenigseder (Susie) of Subiaco, John Koenigseder of Alma, Jim Koenigseder (Diane) of Bentonville, and Gene Kennigseder (Susan) of Alma. He is also survived by five grandchildren, Hunter Hurlburt, Jesse Nichols, Will Nichols, Xana Lockhart and Felicia Hodges, and sixteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm Thursday, July 10, 2025, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rosary Service to follow at 6:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 am Friday, July 11, 2025, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, with interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
