Jonathan Glen Karl Seubold

Jonathan Glen Karl Seubold, 42, of Van Buren, took his last breath on this side of heaven Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was born June 20, 1983 in Fort Smith. He was a Licensed Professional Counselor with a certification in Play Therapy and Supervision at Center for Psychiatric Wellness.

Jonathan graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. He was selected to attend Focus on the Family Institute in Colorado Springs during his final semester at Bolivar. He received his Master’s in Counseling at Colorado Christian University, Colorado Springs.

During his many years as a counselor, Jonathan’s exceptional skill and deep understanding of behavioral science touched the lives of countless children and families. His genuine love, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the well-being of every child he worked with left a lasting impact that will never be forgotten.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Torsten “Doc” Seubold; and grandparents, Donald and Glenda Henrichs and Drs. Frank and Ruth Seubold.

He is survived by his mother, Ramona (Henrichs) Seubold of Van Buren; a brother, Dr. Joshua Seubold and wife Lindsay of Van Buren; a sister, Dr. Jordana Beutelschies and husband Cody of Van Buren; cousins by blood and siblings by heart, Remi and Reese Scharbor of the home; two nephews, Collier and Callen Beutelschies; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2025 at Jubilee Church. Jubilee recently relocated to the previous Community Bible Church facility, located at 1514 Construction Way in Van Buren. Interment will follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
