Gary Cottrell

Gary Cottrell, age 75, of Van Buren, passed away on July 8, 2025. He was born on March 12, 1950, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Gary was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Linda Cottrell; two children, Mark Cottrell and Sarah Johnson; and four grandchildren, Emily, Jacob, Lily, and Noah. Gary was a dedicated member of the community and enjoyed fishing and gardening. A memorial service will be held on July 12, 2025, at 2 PM at Ocker-Putman Funeral Home in Van Buren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
