Elinor Mae Scott, 85, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025 at her home. She was a former employee of Anchor Glass in Henryetta, Oklahoma. Elinor was born September 24, 1939 in Dow, Oklahoma to the late Robert Clyde and Hattie Mae (Carrol) Evans. Also preceding her in death were her husbands, Rupert Mann and Doug Scott; a son, Miles Mann; her sisters, Edna Evans, Shirley Fry, Clara Thurman and brothers, Sonny Evans, Monty Evans and Robert Evans.

Elinor loved crossword puzzles, playing the piano and making breakfast but was really known for making the best biscuits. Elinor is remembered as a loving mother who worked hard and sacrificed to provide for her family. To all who knew her, she was kind and generous, sweet and silly, content and happy, positive and trusting, and always easy to talk to. In short, she was a really good person.

A family held Celebration of Life will be at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma.

Elinor is survived by her daughter, Monique Sims of Alma; her sons, Charles Mann and wife Kelly of Troy, Michigan and Casey Mann and wife Jennifer of Bothell, Washington; grandchildren, Constance, Richard, Ian, Morgan, Nyx, Jace, Andrew, Maximillian, Malina, Liam and Nicole; great grandchildren, Axl, Lukas, Finley, Aaliyah, Destinie, and Eevee; sister, Eloise Poindexter and brother, Claude Evans.
