Deborah Kay Shelton, 61 of Van Buren, lost her battle to cancer early morning on Saturday, July 5, 2025, in her home. Family surrounded her the day before as we knew her time was getting closer. She was the office manager at Window World in Fort Smith. She loved gardening, planting flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and she always put others first. She was preceded in death by her father Donald Kay Pinkerton.

Debbie is survived and missed by her loving husband Steve Shelton of Van Buren, her mother Carolyn Pinkerton of Van Buren; her children Nichole and Richard Chronister of Van Buren, Jessica and Ricky Hunter of Alma, Shawn and Lacey Shelton of Alma, Chris Shelton of Dallas, her grandchildren Cody Snell, Michael Weeden, Mason Hunter and Caitlyn Hunter, her brother Douglas and wife Kimberly Pinkerton of Fort Smith. She will be missed by her nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles.

Family will visit with relatives and friends Thursday, July 10, 2025, from 4-6 PM at Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, 700 Jefferson Street.
