Creyla Marie Collins

Creyla Marie Collins, 80, of Van Buren, Arkansas, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. She was born on November 29, 1944 in Newport, Arkansas to Albert and Edith (Baker) Taylor. Creyla was a beloved mother and grandmother, and nothing meant more to her than her family. She enjoyed cruising and cherished the time spent with her loved ones. A retired LPN, her Christian faith was of utmost importance to her and served as the guiding compass in her life.

Creyla is survived by two sons, Albert Collins and his wife, Joyce of Van Buren and Grady Collins and his wife, Deena of Alma; three daughters, Kimberly Hiser and her husband, Tommy of Van Buren, Jamie Collins of Van Buren and Eugena Nicholas and her husband, Kenneth of Van Buren; one sister, Diane Chelf and her husband, Owen of Mesquite, TX and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who were the light of her life.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Caudill, two brothers, Johnny and Jackie Taylor and two sisters, Audrey Clark and Denise Medellin.

The family will have a private memorial service.
