Cindy Jane Suggs

Cynthia Jane Suggs, age 60, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on July 21, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1964, in Springfield, Missouri, to Walter and Verna (Smith) Suggs.

Known to many as Cindy, she was a spirited and kind-hearted woman with a deep love for adventure and family. Cindy found joy in chasing storms, digging for diamonds, gardening, cooking, and spending meaningful time with her loved ones. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need and had a heart full of compassion. Among her many roles in life, being a grandmother was her greatest pride and joy. She was endlessly proud of her children and grandchildren and loved them fiercely.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Verna and Walter Suggs, and two nieces, Jennifer and Megan.

She is survived by her three children: Justin Suggs and his wife Fritzie, Crystal Tichenor and Brad, and Verna Feigen; eight grandchildren: Felicity, Julia, Jasmine, Nicholas, Gavin, Laynee, Laila, and Keila; and four great-grandchildren: Tucker, Waylon, Quinleigh, and Addilyn. She also leaves behind her three brothers, Wendell, Brian, and Roger; her sister, Melanie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members whom she loved deeply. Cindy will also be lovingly remembered by many dear friends with whom she shared laughter, meals, and lasting memories.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are under the care of Lewis Funeral Chapel.
