Carolyn Ann Phelps

Carolyn Ann Phelps, 76, of Midland, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, July 23, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born July 30, 1948 in Fort Smith to Lincoln, Sr. and Juanita “Tootsie” Phelps. She was a retired court recorder for over 30 years for the Los Angeles County Judicial System.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Kitty Phelps of Midland; two nephews, Dale Phelps and Danny Phelps both of Midland; one niece, Angie Michael of Midland; six great nieces and nephews and sixteen great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Lincoln Phelps, Jr.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. The family will have a private burial at a later date at Mount Olive Cemetery in Midland.
