Brian Keith Needham, 54, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed from this earth on Saturday, July 26, 2025 surrounded by his family. Brian was born February 8, 1971 in Fort Smith to Arlis and Marita (Briley) Needham. He was a 1989 graduate of Van Buren High School. Brian was an avid sports fan and a lifelong Pointer. He loved anything and everything having to do with the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Dallas Cowboys.
Brian never met a stranger; he always had a smile on his face and an open heart to all who met him. He had many health struggles throughout his life but never let that slow him down, he lived a simple life but lived a full life. If you had the privilege of knowing Brian, you were blessed, and your life was blessed. Life on this side of heaven was a little bit sweeter because Brian made it that way. His pure and positive outlook, no matter what life threw at him, is something we all should have daily. Brian Keith Needham was one of a kind, he will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Barney and Naomi Needham and James and Flossie Briley; along with numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Brian is survived by his parents, Arlis and Marita Needham of the home; a brother, David Needham and wife Darlene; nephews Taylor Needham (Melissa), and Logan Needham (Jamilyn); and great-nephew, Grayson Needham. He is also survived by many cousins and numerous friends who loved him dearly.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Kevin Hardcastle. Brian will be laid to rest privately at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Taylor Needham, Logan Needham, Alan Foliart, Darrell Spencer, Daryl Standifird, Colton Standifird, Garrett Standifird, Roger Jeremiah, Brian Jeremiah, Kevin Bell, and Jeff Bell.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time, Thursday, July 31 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR. Family and friends are invited to attend and celebrate Brian’s life.
