It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Betty Lou Roberson, born Lollis, who departed this life on Thursday, July 10, 2025 at the age of 89. Born September 4, 1935 in Crawford County, Betty was the eleventh child of Doc and Carrie (Hammond) Lollis. She was a dedicated and hardworking woman, Betty spent almost thirty years working for Rheem. Above all, she was a devoted loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Betty “Gram-Gram” treasured every moment spent with her family across the generations. Her great-grandchildren brought her immense joy and brightened her days. She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering support for the people she cared about most. Her love lives on in the hearts of all who knew her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Jerry Roberson; and ten brothers and sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Roberson and wife Paula of Baytown, Texas, and Rick Roberson and wife Eva of Van Buren; six grandchildren, Bradley Moyers, Brittney Tierrafria, Frankie Roberson, Summer Mulloy, Vanessa Campbell, and Luke Roberson; and eleven great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Gracelawn Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Luke Roberson, Bradley Moyers, Brian Mulloy, Brooks Mulloy, Avery Mulloy, and Dustin Campbell.
The family will visit with friends from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour, Monday at the funeral home, 4100 Alma Highway, Van Buren, AR.
