Ruby Lea Cunningham

Ruby Lea Cunningham, 100, of Fort Smith passed away on Friday May 2, 2025 in a local nursing home. She was born August 24, 1924 in Kibler, AR to Henry and Myrtle (Foley) Hamilton. She was a retired sales clerk at Cheers Liquor Store. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Fred Cunningham and Jiggs Tankersley. Her son, Randy Tankersley and her Grandson, Randy “Pandy” Tankersley also preceded her in death.

Ruby Lea is survived by nieces, Diana Fahl, Susan and Sandra Tankersley; two nephews, Lawrence Brandenburg and Ricky Hamilton.

Cremation was under the direction of Ocker-Putman Funeral Home of Fort Smith.

Cremains will be interred in Forest Park Cemetery with her husband Fred Cunningham.
