Johnny Clifford Mitchell, who resided near Mansfield, Arkansas, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on January 16, 1965, in Ventura, California, to the late James Robert Mitchell and Sue (Franklin) Mitchell. He was 60 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Robert Mitchell; and a sister, Shelby Hall.

For many years, Johnny was a mechanic, and he worked for M & M Wrecker Service in Greenwood. Johnny loved his family very much and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22nd at Brotherton Funeral Home Chapel in Charleston. Burial will follow at Baxley Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home and Flower Shop in Charleston.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Darlene (Burnette) Mitchell; two daughters, Whitney Soriano and husband Saul of Poteau, Oklahoma, and Victoria Dutton and husband Melvin of Booneville; two sons, Johnny Mitchell and wife Emily of Central City and Justin McDade and Marcy of Huntington; a sister, Jodi Lynne Phillips of California; his mother-in-law, Betty Burnette of Paris, (9) grandchildren; and a nephew, Randy Mitchell and wife Misty of Waldron.

Pallbearers are Johnny Mitchell, Justin McDade, Randy Mitchell, Michael Burnette, Jim Pennington, and Saul Soriano.

Honorary pallbearers are Kaden McDade and Rutledge McDade.

The family will visit with friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Brotherton Brothers Funeral Home in Charleston.
