Wilma Davis, a woman who lived life with passion, independence and an unwavering love for those she held dear. Wilma’s journey ended on April 6, 2025 but her memory and the legacy of love she leaves behind will forever be cherished.
Wilma was a woman who found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a deep love for the hunt – finding treasures at thrift stores and the thrill of a good game – whether it was cards, dominoes or a visit to the casino. Her love for the beach reflected her easygoing spirit, always finding peace by the water.
More than anything, Wilma adored her family. Fiercely loyal and protective, she loved them with a devotion that was felt by all who knew her. She was always the first to offer help but never one to ask for it herself. A truly independent soul, Wilma approached life with a quiet strength, doing things on her own terms, yet she always had a hand to lend when someone needed it.
Known for her impeccable style, Wilma loved fashion—she could often be found admiring or adding to her collection of clothes and shoes – always looking sharp and put together. A lover of books, she found solace in reading, where she explored new worlds and ideas with the same curiosity she brought to all of life.
But above all, Wilma’s love was as deep and boundless as the love Jesus showed. She lived with compassion and grace, offering kindness and warmth to everyone who crossed her path.
Wilma’s spirit, her fierce love for her family, her independence and her genuine kindness will be remembered always. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, love and the example of a life well-lived.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who were lucky enough to know her.
Wilma is survived by one daughter, Brenda (Davis) Roth of Siloam Springs, Arkansas; one son, Lance Davis of Bentonville, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Rachel Roth of Houston, Texas; Tyler Davis of Jacksonville, Florida; Ashlyn Davis of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and Jesse Wooldridge of Booneville, Arkansas; three sisters, Linda Mizell of Fort Smith, Arkansas; Janet Mantooth of Charleston, Arkansas; and Dianna Coughlin of Lincoln, Arkansas; and four brothers, Harold Stockton of Charleston, Arkansas; Curtis Stockton; Ray Stockton; and William Sutherland, all of Lavaca, Arkansas.
