Vicki Galloway, 80, passed from this life April 2, 2025. She was born August 5, 1944 in Fort Smith to Joseph Korkames and Velma Lee (Weldon) Korkames. Vicki graduated from St. Annes High School, and received her LPN from Westark School of Nursing. She was a long-time surgical nurse at Sparks and Mercy, and she loved taking care of people. Vicki also worked as Bookkeeper at Famous Chili. She loved her dog Ozzie, and she loved to buy gifts for her family. Vicki was an avid QVC shopper. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Korkames and Velma Lee Korkames; her son, Stephen Porta; and her sister, Ramona Bryan. She is survived by her husband Ronnie; her daughter, Annie Saffer and husband David; her sisters, Sharon Goodson and husband David, and Theresa Jenkins and husband Bill; her brothers, Joe Korkames and wife Judy, David Korkames (Lisa Chamblee), Michael Korkames, and Drew Korkames and wife Carol; and three grandchildren, Alexander Little, Ryan Little, and Xavier Saffer. Visitation will be Sunday, April 6, 2025, from 5 – 6 PM at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel, with Rosary beginning at 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 AM Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Ryan Little, Alexander Little, Xavier Saffer, Mike Korkames Jr., Ethan Lipe, and Joseph Korkames.
