A new study conducted for The Venture Center shows that the startup hub had a $62.3 million economic impact on Arkansas over a five-year period.

The report, conducted by Boyette Advisors, shows that from 2019 to 2023 there was nearly a 2-to-1 economic multiplier from the companies that sprouted from the center’s programs. Overall, the study found:

  • A $44.8 million economic impact on Pulaski County;
  • $258 million in private funding raised for accelerator startups in 2022-23;
  • $924 million in total capital raised by accelerator companies since 2016; and
  • 100% of accelerator participants secured funding.

Additionally, the report found more than 120 community programs attracted nearly 4,200 attendees over the past two years.
