Stanley Edward Gabbard

Stanley Edward Gabbard, 80, of Mountainburg, passed away Friday, April 11, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born May 22, 1944 in Russellville to the late Albert and Anna (Edwards) Gabbard.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Gabbard and a sister, Marjorie Riley.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Gabbard of the home; two daughters, Misty Lee and her husband Kai of Rancho Murieta, CA and Michelle Russell and her husband Phillip of Mountainburg; a sister, Jolene Gabbard of Batesville; a brother, Mark Gabbard of Houston, TX; and five grandchildren, Bradley Russell, Shannon Russell, Tyler Russell, Breanna Lee and Connor Lee.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Dyer Cemetery, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Russell, Kai Lee, Bradley Russell, Raoul Harris, Harry Ridenour and Jim Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Taylor, Shay Palmer, Dwayne Fields, Dana Dean, Greg Knisley, Mark Gabbard and Jargo Jones.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home, 4100 Alma Hwy, Van Buren.
