The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis has appointed five new members to its Industry Councils, with two being from Arkansas.
The new appointees are:
- Amy Gill, president of Checkmate Design in St. Louis, has been named to the Real Estate Industry Council.
- Brittany Goings Marsh, owner of Cornerstone Pharmacy and Compounding in Little Rock, has been named to the Health Care Industry Council.
- J. Fletcher Hanson III, principal, executive vice president and principal broker at Moses Tucker Partners in Little Rock, has been named to the Real Estate Industry Council.
- Teresa Hubbard, president and CEO of CITE Armored in Holly Springs, Miss., has been named to the Transportation Industry Council.
- Mark Pryor, chairman and CEO of The Seam in Memphis, Tenn., has been named to the Agribusiness Industry Council.
The St. Louis Fed created four District Industry Councils in 2006, each designed to provide important feedback about economic conditions in key Eighth District industry sectors.
The members’ observations — along with the economic data developed through the Federal Reserve Board’s Beige Book and meetings of the Reserve Bank’s board of directors — help ensure conditions in Main Street America are represented in monetary policy deliberations in Washington.
