Frank Weaver Sr. 82, passed from this life April 8, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born October 3, 1942, in Bokoshe, OK to Elmer Weaver Sr. and Mary (Martin) Weaver. Frank was a United States Army Veteran, and was retired from the Fort Smith Fire Department and Fort Smith Public Schools. He was a member of Amity Missionary Baptist Church, Hackett, AR and the American Legion. Frank enjoyed gardening, cooking, and fishing. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Judy; and his siblings, Elmer Weaver Jr., Earl Samuel Weaver, Mildred Catherine Sherman, George (Wayne) Weaver, Dorothy Mae Helton, and Harvey Weaver.
He is survived by his children, Frank Weaver Jr. and wife Dorothy, and Angela Graham and husband Michael; grandchildren, Amber Barcheers and husband Cody, Christina Graham, and DeWayne Defluiter; great-grandchildren, Weston, Lexi, Calie, Zyer, and Connor.
Visitation will be Thursday, 4/10/25, from 5 – 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home.
Graveside Service will be 1:00 PM Friday at Old Bokoshe Memory Gardens, in Bokoshe, OK.
