Dennie Britt Dillard, 72, of Alma, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at his home. He was born July 24, 1952 in Fort Smith to the late Hubert and Charlene (Hall) Dillard. He worked in radio, and Dillard tile. But he was his happiest performing as a comedian and an Elvis impersonator at the King Opera house; and he loved his Arkansas Razorbacks.

He is survived by a son, Ryan Dillard of Alma; the mother of his son, Linda Dillard of Alma; his beloved cousin, Terrie Jan Gentry of Fort Smith; six grandchildren, Caleb Dillard, Shea Mongold, Nadia Bullington, Halle Bullington, Ethan Rhoades, and Gary Bullington; and two great-granddaughters, Nova Mongold and Noelle Rhoades.

A family-hosted Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Sunday, June 8, at the King Opera House. Cremation is under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.

Sincere heartfelt thanks from Ryan to his mother, Linda Dillard, for her selflessness in helping him care for his father over the past 8 months. He’s unsure how he could have made it without her. Also, thanks to his dad’s great friend, Doyle Hensley, for all that he has done for his dad and the help he gave him and his mother to be able to give his father his personal wish of passing peacefully at home and not in a hospital where he had fought many times throughout his life to leave.
