Arthur Corey Jr.

Arthur G. Corey, Jr., 84, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on April 9, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1940, in Washington, DC. Arthur moved to Fort Smith from Dallas, Texas, in the late 1970s. In Fort Smith, he enjoyed a successful career at Whirlpool before moving to Saudi Arabia and working as a civilian for 13 years. Once back in Fort Smith, Arthur worked for Umarex before retiring. He was also an active participant in the Fort Smith Little Theater for several years. He is survived by his wife, Virginia R. Corey, of Fort Smith; his son, Ken Corey, of Rugby, England; his son, Richard Corey, of Sunbury, Pennsylvania; his daughter, Anne Corey, of Albany, Western Australia; as well as three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. At this time, no services are scheduled.
