It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Wanda Louise Webb, 85, on March 18, 2025. Wanda was born Wanda Plymale on September 24, 1939, in Ozark, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 and a half years, G.L. Webb; Her parents, Ethel and Carl Plymale; five brothers, Clifford, Gurvis, Curtis, Harold, and Bobby; as well as one nephew, David “Tommy” Plymale. She is survived by a host of Nieces and nephews. Wanda and G.L. were married in 1955 after meeting at the World Burger, in Fort Smith, Arkansas; where Wanda worked as a carhop. Wanda went on to become an LPN and she worked as a nurse until she retired at St. Edwards Mercy Hospital. Wanda was a member and faithfully attended Rye Hill Baptist Church, in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She loved and was loved deeply by her Church Family. In lieu of flowers, Wanda’s family request that donations be made to the Rye Hill Baptist Church Building Fund. There will be a visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, Located at 4817 Kelley Highway, Fort Smith, Arkansas. There will also be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at the Fort Smith National Cemetery, Located at 522 Garland Avenue, Fort Smith, Arkansas.
