Todd Lynnwood Wheeler, 66, of Van Buren passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025. Todd was born on April 21, 1958 in Juneau, Alaska to the late Darrell and LaTrell (Riddle) Wheeler. He was retired from Trane Manufacturing in Fort Smith. He was preceded in death by his parents, and by one brother, Brad Wheeler.

Todd’s smile not only lit his whole face, but it could light the entire room. The magnetism of his personality attracted wife-to-be Tami when they were in tenth grade, and they stuck together for the next 49 years.

While Todd did like to hunt, fishing was a passionate pastime; a tradition his sons Marc and Bradley are proudly continuing at every opportunity.

Nothing made Todd happier than when he was preparing for a big family get together. The dessert tables he designed were a feast for both the eyes and the palate, with his banana pudding taking the spotlight.

Todd is survived by his wife of 47 years, Tami (Williams) Wheeler; son John Marc (Rachel) Wheeler, daughter Ashlee (Mikey) Allen, and son Bradley Wheeler all of Van Buren; three brothers, Brent Wheeler, Jason (Lisa) Wheeler of Mountainburg, and Mark Wheeler of Alma.

Todd leaves behind these grandchildren to cherish his memory: Nathan, LaRyssa, and Mallory Wheeler, Josie Wheeler, Connor and Caleb Lyons, Chelsey Breshears and Tyree Mongold; and also three great-grandchildren: Mariah, Eli, and Brayden Breshears.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren, with a memorial service to be announced at a later date. The family is grateful for your prayers and encouragement during this difficult time.
