Jimmy Dale Brock

Jimmy Dale Brock, 85, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away on Thursday March 27, 2025 in Fort Smith. He was born on June 16, 1939, to the late Walter Hamilton and Gertrude Viola Brock. He was the manager for Donrey Outdoor Advertising in Fort Smith and a member of the Van Buren First Baptist Church. He was a loving and supportive husband, father, uncle and grandfather. He always carried an encouraging spirit and everyone around him knew of his quick wit and generous smile. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Robert Lee Brock.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Brock of the home; a daughter, Audra Rouw and husband David of Garfield, AR; a son, Dr. Wade Brock and wife Mary Starr of Little Rock, AR, a sister, Rosemary Harris of Van Buren, AR; step children, Monica Griffith and husband Mark of Greenwood, AR, Mark Albright and wife Kimberly of Maumelle, AR; ten grandchildren, Alexandra and Anika Rouw, William Ross Brock, Clara Virginia Brock, Rachel Lillian Brock, Garett Griffith, Hannah Crelia, Elyse Bocanegra, Grace Ann Quimby and Everly Escobedo nine great-grandchildren; a special niece, Shelly Kelly and husband Pat.

A graveside funeral service will be 10 A.M. Monday March 31, 2025, at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren.

Pallbearers will be Mark Griffith, Will Brock, Billy Rogers, Pat Kelly, Ron Green and David Rouw.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to either the First Baptist Church in Van Buren or Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Van Buren.
