Darlene Sue Dunaway

Darlene Sue Dunaway, 78 of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away peacefully in Fort Smith on Wednesday March 12, 2025. She was a long time employee of Flanders Outdoor Furniture in Fort Smith. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Robert Dunaway; her parents, William and Melba (Brown) Lewis; a daughter, Stephanie Barnett; a brother Elden Lewis.

She is survived by her daughter, Shannon Workman and husband Arthur of Mountainburg, Arkansas; a sister, Onita Robertson and husband Don of Oshkosh, Nebraska; a granddaughter, Brittney Courter of Lavaca, Arkansas.

Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home in Van Buren. No formal services are scheduled at this time.
