Alice Raye Ledbetter, 84, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2025 in Fort Smith. She was born February 26, 1941 in Clarksville, Arkansas to Tom and Wilma (McElroy) Kraus. She worked as a CNA at Pink Bud Nursing Home, where the residents loved her and later she became a resident herself at Pink Bud. She was a member of Excelsior Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, Mark Ledbetter and wife, Zura; two daughters, Cindy Addison and husband, Isaiah and Lynn Moody and husband, Terry; one sister, Deanna Stubblefield and husband, Benny; eleven grandchildren, Justin Ledbetter (Tarah), Josh Ledbetter (Lindsey), Jeremy Gamso (Ann), Brandon Gamso (Lauren), Whitney Tucker (James), Jordan Ledbetter (Lizzie), Nathan Ledbetter (Dosha), Hannah Ledbetter, Tara Smith, Aaron Moody (Erin), Alex Moody (Cassie), twenty-seven great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Ledbetter, one son, Mike Ledbetter and a brother, Tommy Kraus.
Memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, March 21 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
