John Stewart II

John Harold Stewart II, 57, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was born on January 31, 1968, in Fort Smith to John and Sharon Faye Stewart. On June 13, 2008, he married the love of his life, Tammy Annette McCurry.

For three decades, John owned and operated his janitorial business, working tirelessly to provide for his family. A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones. Known for his warm heart, gift of conversation, and playful sense of humor, John had a way of making those around him smile. He especially enjoyed family gatherings, where he could be found watching football and sharing laughs.

John is survived by his beloved wife, Tammy Stewart; his four children, Austin, Krystal, Stephen, and Samantha; and his eight grandchildren, Noah, Matthew, Zane, Gavin, Gracie, Raevyn, Jackson, and Lucas; his sisters, Sherry, Debbie, and Lori. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Sharon Stewart.

John’s legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to family will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
