PRSA names 2025 board of directors and officers
The Arkansas chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) has announced the installation of its 2025 board of directors and officers.
The chapter also announced the addition of an ethics officer position to the board, which will be held for the first time by Allison Bermudez, APR, communications manager at MISO.
Newly installed board and officers include:
President: Stella Prather, APR, communications director, Empower Healthcare Solutions
President-Elect: Madeline Roberts, APR, public relations manager, The Peacock Group
Vice President: David Faggard APR+M, head of Kinetic communications, Windstream
Secretary: Brooke Wilson, APR, director of communications, Camp Aldersgate, Inc.
Treasurer: Jessica Hughes Ford, APR, chief communications officer, Arkansas Community Foundation
Director-At-Large, Prisms: Allyson Pittman Gattin, APR, public relations director, The Peacock Group
Ethics Officer: Allison Bermudez, APR, communications manager, MISO
Prather succeeds Mary Claire Imbro, APR, who will continue to serve as the immediate past president.
Officer positions continuing to serve their three-year terms include:
Director-At-Large, PRSSA Chapter Liaison: Casey Pearce, APR, director of external relations and marketing, NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University
Director-At-Large, Assembly Delegate and APR: Sandra McGrew, APR, director of external relations, Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI)
Director-At-Large, Membership: Libby Doss Lloyd, APR, director of communications, Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau
The local PRSA chapter hosts monthly meetings every third Friday of the month featuring several speakers and panel discussions to support the continued professional development of its more than 100 members. The guest fee is $25 and the student fee is $10. Members are free.
