Kay Yvonne Willhite

Kay Yvonne Willhite, 72, of Alma, Arkansas passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at a local hospital. She was an office manager for Parker Plumbing for 38 years and an Alma Little League Cheerleading coordinator. Kay was born January 26, 1952 in Maquoketa, Iowa to the late Otis Hendrix and Allene (Satterfield) McAlister. She was also preceded in death by her husband Ikey Willhite and stepdad, Richard McAlister.

Kay managed the ticket booth at Crawford County Speedway for over 30 years and loved meeting and visiting with people at the track. She also loved going to the casino with her husband Ikey before his passing, shopping and Branson trips with family.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Ocker Chapel of Alma with interment to follow at Gregory Cemetery under the direction of Ocker Funeral Home of Alma. The family will visit with friends on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Ocker Chapel of Alma, 917 Hwy. 64 E., Alma, AR.

Survivors include her daughter, Amy Willhite-Hale and husband Wilson and grandson Lucas Russell-Hale all of Alma.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Willis, Mark Dixon, Derek Stowe, Josh Skelton, David Gann and Darrell Heister.

Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Crawford County Speedway Booster Club, Gary Perry, Frank Watkins, Ricky Hunter and Danny Hale.
