Deborah Kaye Bartlett, 68, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025 in her home. She was born August 2, 1956 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to Willis and Emily Kilgore.
Deborah is loved and adored by so many. She is survived by her son, Jonathon Smith and wife, Tanya of Greenwood; one brother, Gary Kilgore of Fort Smith; four grandchildren, Hayden Smith and Brooklynn Smith both of Greenwood, Autumn Samora and Saige Bartlett both of Utah and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otha Bartlett.
Deborah loved spending time with her grandchildren, either playing board games, telling jokes, reading books, or watching movies. She also enjoyed traveling, visiting her favorite lighthouses, sitting on the beach and playing Bunko with her friends. Anyone that knew her recognized her love of purple Iris’, seashells, lighthouses, and a good book. She retired from Rheem in 2014 after 38 years but continued to work part time.
Memorial service will be 5:30 p.m., Friday, January 31 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with inurnment at the Fort Smith National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Greenwood Bulldog Trap Team fund at any Farmers Bank.
