Impact Management Group (IMG), a Little Rock-based leader in public affairs, political consulting, and strategic communications, announced Wednesday (Dec. 18) that co-founder and partner, Terry Benham, is transitioning to a new role in the venture capital industry.

While stepping back from daily operations, Benham will remain with IMG, serving as a strategic advisor, ensuring continuity and collaboration with the firm he helped build.

“Building this firm alongside my colleagues and working with our elected officials to shape good public policy over the last 25 years has been one of the greatest honors of my career. As I move into this new phase, I’m excited to build something new while continuing to support the incredible team at IMG,” said Benham.

“Terry’s leadership and insight have been the foundation of so much of our success,” said Richard Bearden, co-founding Partner at IMG. “While we’ll miss his day-to-day involvement, we’re excited for him as he takes this next step and grateful that he’ll continue to contribute to our work as a trusted advisor to our clients.”

IMG is one of the leading lobbying and consulting firms in Arkansas. It also has offices in Baton Rouge, La. The firm is a full-service public affairs, government relations, and strategic communications company.

Alongside Bearden, partners Robert Coon, Scott Pace, and Ashley Bearden Campbell remain with the firm.

“What we have built together is more than a successful company. We’ve built a highly effective team that will lead us successfully into the next 25 years,” said Benham.

“Impact Management Group wouldn’t be what it is today without Terry’s vision and drive,” said Robert Coon, Managing Partner at IMG. “We fully support him in this next chapter and look forward to continuing to collaborate with him on future projects.”

Benham, who is pursing a new opportunity in a different sector, said he will announce future plans in the coming weeks.
