In 2007, newly graduated from the University of Arkansas in finance, Morgan Chandler and her husband Chris took out a loan and bought his grandparent’s company, Chandler Equipment. The firm offers truck accessories for customers in the agriculture, food, oil and gas and transportation industries. To expand the business, they acquired Backwoods Adventure Mods in 2017 and Roambuilt this past April.
Chandler helped grow the company by 30% in the past three years. Posting $33 million in revenue for 2023, the business has 105 employees and 92,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space. In 2021, the company was one of six Arkansas companies recognized with a Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade.
In 2009, the couple started Moxy, a graphic design and printing company, selling it in 2012.
Also passionate about real estate, Chandler got her license in 2012. In 2022, with sales totaling $13 million, she represented the top three residential sales in Northwest Arkansas — each more than $3 million. Dedicated, she’s not above scouting out houses not on the market for her potential clients.
From Springdale, Chandler’s mission is “to make the community a better place.” Working with the Springdale school system, she tells students her story of buying and growing a company and educates them on area job possibilities. Chandler donated a FANUC training robot to Don Tyson School of Innovation and provides internships for local kids at her company.
Local charities including the Arkansas Children’s Hospital, NWA Food Bank and Feed 479 are favorite causes, as well as donating to Shiloh Christian’s new elementary school, where her kids attend.
Chandler is a busy mom of three and prides herself on dependability for her family and clients.
