Matthew “Matt” Cramblett graduated with a degree in finance from Harding University in 2012 and almost immediately began a career in banking that has led to being one of the top commercial loan officers in the state.
Though Cramblett was not exactly sure how he wanted to use his degree after graduation, he did know whom to reach.
Being from Searcy, Cramblett reached out to the Rutledge family with First Security Bank and was hired as a teller.
After working for several banks in central Arkansas, Cramblett was recruited to relocate to Northwest Arkansas in 2022 to oversee commercial lending for Citizens Bank here.
Over the past five years, to include central and Northwest Arkansas, Cramblett has conducted over $200 million in new loan production and manages many of Citizens Bank Benton County’s top client relationships.
“I’ve been told I’m a very personable person. I pretty much get along with everybody,” Cramblett said. “With my credit analysis background, I’m a very analytical thinker. So what I feel like I can provide to my clients is not only loans … but I can actually view my clients’ financials and give them advice.”
Cramblett oversees one of the largest loan portfolios in the banking industry’s NWA market and has cultivated an extensive network of prospering relationships in the business community, all of which are contributing to real economic growth in the region.
Cramblett said in the next three to five years he hopes to be in more of a management role as a market president or a regional president in banking.
He is a graduate of Leadership Arkansas and Leadership Greater Little Rock and a board member of Bentonville Youth Athletics.
