AEDCE honors four at 2024 awards luncheon
During the AEDCE Awards Luncheon at their 2024 Annual Conference in Hot Springs last week, the Arkansas Economic Developers & Chamber Executives (AEDCE) honored four individuals for their dedication and contributions to their communities and to the state of Arkansas.
Del Boyette received the prestigious Maria Haley Lifetime Leadership for Economic Development award, acknowledging his extensive career in economic development leadership, including founding Boyette Strategic Advisors and serving in key roles in both Arkansas and Georgia.
Julie Murray, PCED, the president and CEO of the Van Buren Chamber of Commerce, was named Outstanding Chamber Executive. Murray has demonstrated exceptional leadership in strategic planning and community development in Van Buren and across Arkansas.
Jack Thomas, CEcD, vice president of economic development at the Little Rock Regional Chamber, was awarded Outstanding Economic Developer. His leadership in corporate site selection and workforce development has been instrumental in enhancing central Arkansas’s economic landscape.
A Volunteer of the Year honor was presented to Bryan Huff, president of the Board of Directors at the Alma Area Chamber of Commerce. Huff’s efforts to strengthen the chamber and advocate for small businesses have significantly boosted Alma’s economic visibility and growth.

Their work exemplifies the spirit of collaboration and innovation that drives our state forward.”
