Former Westside YMCA in Little Rock sells for $1.8M

A former YMCA owned by Arkansas Sports Medicine LLC, managed by Drs. Jimmy Tucker and Eric Gordon, was sold on June 14 to SwimGym LLC, led by Connie Raley, for $1.8 million. Commercial real estate firm Colliers Arkansas announced the details on Monday (June 24).
Graham Gordon, Justin Bentley and Mason Lewis of Colliers represented the seller in the transaction; Wes Martin at The Hathaway Group represented the buyer.
The 19,610-square-foot facility at 4701 Sam Peck Road, built in 1979, includes a full-court basketball gym, workout center and indoor pool. It is on 5.45 acres directly across the street from the Little Rock Athletic Club.
According to Monday’s announcement, the new owners will operate a Safety Before Skill Swim School at the pool and have plans to turn the basketball gym into a space dedicated to gymnastics and ninja activities.
“This property really benefitted from its great location and close proximity to so many residential neighborhoods in west Little Rock,” Gordon said. “Its open gym floor and excess acreage around the property affords the new owners the ability to sublease space and expand around the outdoor swimming pool.”
