Connections: UAMS plans job expo at Fayetteville campus

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) will host a job expo from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday (June 8) at its Northwest Regional Campus in Fayetteville, located at 1125 N. College Ave. A similar event will also take place in Little Rock.

Michelle Wiles, UAMS Vice Chancellor and Chief People and Culture Officer, emphasized the variety of roles available at UAMS that do not require a college degree. “Many positions at UAMS only require a high school diploma or GED. These roles are crucial to our operations,” Wiles said.

The job expo will highlight opportunities in direct and indirect patient care, administrative support, campus operations, nutrition services and research.
