Arkansas Children’s promotes Ryan Solomon to SVP of hospital operations
Arkansas Children’s is promoting longtime leader Ryan Solomon to senior vice president of hospital operations for Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) in Little Rock. He will begin his new role on June 24.
Solomon joined Arkansas Children’s a decade ago and has most recently was interim SVP and chief administrator at Arkansas Children’s Northwest. He previously was vice president and general counsel for the state’s nationally ranked pediatric health system.
Solomon developed Arkansas Children’s first Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program and was a key member of the leadership team on numerous strategic initiatives and crisis management situations.
“During his tenure at Arkansas Children’s, Ryan has demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement in patient care, financial performance, quality, safety and operational efficiency,” said Arkansas Children’s Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Jamie Wiggins. “I am confident that he will continue to be pivotal in advancing the mission and our commitment to providing extraordinary care to the children of Arkansas and surrounding states.”
Before joining Arkansas Children’s, Solomon was in private practice and acted as CEO and general counsel for Legacy Spine & Neurological Specialists in Little Rock. He was also a partner with Rose Law Firm.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Solomon earned his law degree at the UA School of Law. He also holds a master’s degree of public service from the UA Clinton School of Public Service.
Solomon has a background in community service, volunteering with the boards of nonprofits including the Arkansas Hospice Foundation, the American Heart Association, the Little Rock Commission on Parks and Recreation and the Arkansas Board of Dental Examiners.
