Established in 1978 by Paul C. Parks, initially as an electrical engineering firm (Paul C. Parks Engineering Inc.), Benchmark Group has emerged as a prominent full-service architectural and engineering design firm. Headquartered in Rogers, with a satellite office in Dallas and soon to expand into Houston, Benchmark Group boasts a diverse team of 250 professionals licensed across all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

From its modest beginnings rooted in the vision of one man — Parks started the company in his house when Rogers still had dirt streets — Benchmark Group has evolved into a multidisciplinary powerhouse. With a keen eye for growth and quality, Parks expanded the firm’s services to encompass architecture, interior design, fire protection, energy services and construction compliance. Benchmark Group celebrates Parks’ legacy annually on Founder’s Day (April 3) as a testament to his commitment to clients and staff.

Following Parks’ death in 2020, David Kimball (president), Jason Adams (executive vice president) and Matthew Nichols (engineering program director) became the company’s new owners in 2021.
