Connections: NWACC Foundation board adds David Walker

The NorthWest Arkansas Community College Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the two-year college in Bentonville, has appointed David Walker of Bentonville to its board of directors.

“I am excited to welcome Walker to the NWACC Foundation Board,” board president Mat Mozzoni said. “His passion for NWACC along with his deep commitment to serving the immigrant community here in Northwest Arkansas is inspiring. We are thankful for his volunteer leadership.”

Born in Scotland, Walker immigrated to Arkansas in 2002 and became an American citizen in 2019. In 2018, he co-founded the marshmallow brand Yummallo.

“As a proud NWACC alum, I am thrilled for the opportunity to serve on the board for the foundation,” Walker said. “I look forward to working with the other board members to spread the word about the best kept secret in Northwest Arkansas [NWACC].”
