Wellness and personal care company Country Life signed a 10-year lease for approximately 70,000 square feet at Central Commerce Center (C3), a first-generation industrial facility on Diamond Drive near the Galloway Road exit off of Interstate 40 in North Little Rock.

Commercial real estate firm Colliers Arkansas in Little Rock shared details of the transaction Thursday (Dec. 7) in a news release.

Isaac Smith, Andrew Wiechern and Bill Pendergist of Colliers Arkansas represented the owner in the transaction, an investor group led by Colliers Arkansas. Ryan Gibson and David Friedland of Cushman & Wakefield/Sage Partners represented the tenant.

Country Life is a North American supplement manufacturer and sells a broad portfolio of products in the natural, supplements, sports nutrition and personal care markets through its three brands: Country Life Vitamins, Desert Essence personal care, and Biochem protein.

Founded in 1971, the company is headquartered in Hauppauge, N.Y., and plans to use the Little Rock facility for product storage and distribution.

“Central Commerce Center has a lot to offer to manufacturing firms such as Country Life,” Smith said. “We are grateful they agreed and chose the North Little Rock location.”

Completed in 2022, C3 is one of the state’s first 200,000-square-foot tilt-wall industrial facilities. According to the release, features include abundant truck docks and loading bays, 34-foot clear height, and wide column spacing.

“We’re excited about joining and supporting the North Little Rock community,” said Melanie Moses, distribution manager for Country Life. “Our goal with this facility is to be closer to our customers while continuing to provide the highest quality supplements and personal care products on the market. We are grateful for the hospitality provided by Colliers and look forward to growing in Arkansas.”

Country Life plans to occupy the new space by March 1, 2024. Other C3 tenants include Home Depot. Colliers Arkansas officials said 90,720 square feet remain available for lease.
