Elicia Dover joins JF Media+Marketing
Former KATV anchor and reporter Elicia Dover has joined JF Media+Marketing, an Arkansas-based fractional marketing and communications company owned by her husband, Jeremy Flynn.
Dover, an award-winning journalist, will be taking on the role of Communications and Public Relations Specialist bringing her wealth of experience and innovative storytelling skills to enhance client offerings. She most recently spent a decade as a reporter and news anchor at the ABC Affiliate-KATV Channel 7 in Little Rock.
A fractional marketing or communications director provides companies with an experienced executive without the cost of a full-time marketing or communications professional.
In her new role at JF Media+Marketing, Dover will leverage her expertise in journalism to craft compelling narratives that resonate with target audiences, bolstering JF Media+Marketing’s ability to drive brand awareness and enhance its clients’ public image.
“Elicia is a true luminary in the field of journalism, and I’m delighted to not only welcome her as a professional and teammate in this business.” said Flynn. “Her impressive track record in storytelling, coupled with her passion for effective communication, will undoubtedly elevate our clients’ brand narratives and enhance our PR efforts. With Elicia on board, we are better equipped to provide innovative, results-driven solutions.”
As a producer for ABC News in New York and during her time with KATV, Dover’s reporting and writing earned her numerous awards, including the prestigious Peabody Award and Edward R. Murrow Award.
“I am excited to embark on this new adventure with JF Media+Marketing,” said Dover. “While journalism has been my heart and soul for many years, I see this move as a natural progression in my career. Anyone can send a press release, but not everyone can tell your story. I was on the receiving end of story ideas and non-stop PR pitches for years. I know what gets picked up and goes viral. I’m here to offer calm direction, decisive planning and bold messaging.”
