The First Tee of Northwest Arkansas has promoted director of programming and outreach Isaac Tellez to executive director. He will assume the role on Sept. 1. Randy Hurban, the previous CEO, is leaving the job after four years but will remain on the nonprofit’s board of directors.

Tellez has over two decades of experience in youth development programming and leadership.

The First Tee is a national youth development organization that introduces kids to the game of golf and its inherent values. The Northwest Arkansas affiliate is headquartered in Lowell.

Megan Little also joined the local affiliate of The First Tee recently as director of development and marketing.
