Connections: Walmart Inc. attorney joins Rogers practice

Georgia law firm Hall Booth Smith (HBS) has hired compliance attorney Jennifer May-Brust of Bentonville as of counsel in its Rogers office.

After working for 10 years in the oil pipeline transportation industry, May-Brust moved to Walmart in 2004. There, she served in attorney, vice president, and general counsel roles for over 18 years. She supported the retailer’s U.S. real estate program, focusing on commercial contracts, construction and design, real estate transactions, land entitlement, and building effective regulatory compliance programs.

“We are happy Jennifer has decided to join HBS and believe she and her experience will help expand our footprint in Northwest Arkansas,” said Jason Hendren, managing partner of the firm’s Rogers office.

HBS opened its Rogers office in 2021 and has an office in Little Rock. The company has four attorneys in Rogers, 10 in Little Rock and approximately 350 nationwide.
