Residential property sales, storage units top November deals in Sebastian County

A $5 million sale of 16 residential parcels along Houston and South Houston streets in east Fort Smith and a self storage unit ownership change were the top Sebastian County property deals in November, according to info from the office of Sebastian County Assessor Zach Johnson.

The residential property was sold by Danny Meadows Builder Inc. to Jason and Anna Nguyen on Nov. 18. The second largest deal was for $2,2 million, with Whit and Gage Investments selling a self storage unit at 7501 Veterans Ave., in Fort Smith, to Chaffee Self Storage. That deal closed Nov. 4.

The top 10 deals in November had a combined deal value of $15.906 million.

A $20.387 million sale of the new Veterans Affairs Clinic in Fort Smith and associated property is the largest Sebastian County property deal so far in 2022. The deal, which closed Nov. 8, had VAF 5700 Phoenix Place LLC sell the property to GOV VA Fort Smith LLC. Robert Pardo is the registered agent for VAF, with the corporate address in Beverly Hills, Calif. The buyer is based in Winston-Salem, N.C., with agents listed being HC Government Realty Holdings and Jacqlyn Piscetelli.

The 49,500-square-foot VA Clinic, located at 5700 Phoenix Ave., was completed in early 2021, with the building permit valued at $15.7 million.
