Arkansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Arkansas District Export Council are offering a series of free webinars focusing on export finance. The four webinars are:

Session 1, October 19, 9am CDT
Michael Dwiggins of EXIM Bank and Reginald Harley of the Small Business Administration

Their talk will cover the Export-Import Bank of the United States is the official export credit agency of the federal government, which serves to extend credit to foreign buyers, reduce the risk of non-payment from foreign buyers and access export working capital to fulfill purchase orders. It will also discuss Small Business Administration export programs, such as international trade loans, Export Working Capital and STEP Grants.

Michelle Rock of Arvest Bank

This webinar will cover International Banking Products, such as Import and Export Letters of Credit, Import and Export Documentary Collections, and Incoming and Outgoing Foreign Wire Transfers.

Session 3, November 2, 9am CDT
Brent Hoots of Navitrade

This talk will center on Trade Credit Services, which include export credit insurance to provide risk mitigation in the event of a customer default and credit data needed to make decisions regarding international companies.

Session 4, November 9, 9am CDT
Michael Salerno of First National Bank of Omaha

This webinar will cover Managing Currency Risk, by using the best practices for invoicing foreign customers and getting the best foreign exchange rate.
