Former hotel property sale the top Sebastian County deal in August

The $1.2 million sale of a former hotel site on Waldron Road in Fort Smith was the top Sebastian County property transaction in August, according to info from the office of Sebastian County Assessor Zach Johnson.

Fort Smith-based Ghan Properties sold the commercial property and building at 2219 S. Waldron Road on Aug. 23 to Brookwood-Waldron FS LLC.

There have been three other property deals along Waldron Road so far in 2022. Medical Investments Fort Smith LLC – a company registered to the owners of Ghan Properties – and Able Properties LLC on July 8 bought a medical office building at 2120 S. Waldron Road in Fort Smith for $2.1 million. The property was sold by Green Meadows Properties LLC. On May 12, properties at 5500 and 5428 Ellsworth Road were part of a $9.751 million deal in which Medical Investments sold property to Darrell Robinson and Dusty Duke of Fort Smith. All of the properties are rented by Baptist Health-Fort Smith and are clinics for the hospital system.

The second largest deal in August had Patti and Edward Janes sell the Lites Etcetera retail building at 9814 U.S. 71 South to P&F Investments Inc. The deal closed Aug. 8

The $9 million sale of an apartment complex in the southwest corner of Grand Avenue and Interstate 540 was the largest Sebastian County property transaction so far in 2022. FS3 Holdings LLC sold the apartment complex at 5901 Kinkead Ave., on June 7 to Rampart Enterprises Inc.
