Accenture reaches deal to acquire The Stable
Professional services firm Accenture of New York announced a deal Wednesday (July 13) to acquire consumer brand agency The Stable of Minnesota. Financial terms were not disclosed.
Both companies have Northwest Arkansas offices. Accenture established a regional presence over a decade ago. The Stable entered the market in 2020 when it acquired e-commerce tech company RichContext of Rogers, then followed that up by acquiring The Retail Firm in Bentonville last year.
The Stable has approximately 400 employees. They’ll be folded into Accenture’s creative services division, Accenture Song.
“Today, every company is a commerce company,” Accenture Song exec Glen Hartman said. “The B2B and B2C companies that fast-track their commerce transformation across the customers’ entire life journey will grow well into the future. By embedding The Stable’s set of talent and capabilities into Accenture Song’s, we will continue to help our clients meet customers where they are, on their terms and reimagine buying and selling experiences.”

In a separate announcement, Accenture said three people have joined its Bentonville office — Julia Monk, Scott Hogan and Nick Smith.
Monk previously worked for transportation management company The Hub Group in Fayetteville. Hogan relocated to Northwest Arkansas from Accenture’s office in Austin, Texas. Smith previously worked for Tyson Foods for nearly 20 years.
Accenture has approximately 75 employees in Northwest Arkansas.
