USA Truck wins Transplace award

Van Buren-based carrier USA Truck Inc. recently was named a 2021 National Truckload Carrier of the Year by Transplace, an Uber Freight company.
“USA Truck is honored to be recognized as Truckload Carrier of the Year,” said Tim Guin, executive vice president and chief commercial officer of USA Truck. “We are proud of our team members who have provided an excellent customer experience to Transplace and our shared customer relationships.”
Transplace, a logistics technology and services provider, recently recognized its 2021 Carrier of the Year winners for several categories, including National Truckload Carrier of the Year. Selection was based on company-wide, quantitative data and survey feedback from Transplace account teams, according to a news release. Specific emphasis areas included on-time service, tender acceptance, and factors related to the ease of doing business, such as customer service, responsiveness and the accuracy and timeliness of invoicing and status updates.
According to a Transplace news release, Heartland Express Inc. of Iowa and Contract Freighters Inc. were also named National Truckload Carrier of the Year.
And the release shows Lowell-based J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc. was named Intermodal Carrier of the Year and Fort Smith-based Propak Corp. was named Dedicated Fleet Carrier of the Year. The awards were given at Transplace’s 2022 Carrier Symposium in Arlington, Texas.
