Ridout Companies names Brad Cunningham as new president and GM
Lumber and hardware giant Ridout Companies has named Bradley Cunningham as the new president and general manager.
Cunningham succeeds Ridout’s outgoing president, Ross Ridout, who will take on an advisory role in the company that has operations across Arkansas and Missouri.
“Brad began with Ridout 25 years ago as a yard hand and worked his way up through the ranks, most recently serving as Vice President of Operations, where he played a key role in a period of tremendous growth for the company,” said Ridout. “I am confident that Brad will lead Ridout to continued success.”
Cunningham joined Ridout Companies in 1996. In his new role as president, he will be responsible for leading Ridout’s hardware, lumber and specialty building products retail and wholesale distribution in Arkansas and Missouri.
“I want to thank the Ridout family for their leadership, guidance, and support throughout my career. I will do my best to see the principles and ideals established by the Ridout family remain at the center of our business,” said Cunningham.
“Each and every associate at Ridout is an integral part of what makes us great. The history and foundation we have, combined with the cutting-edge strength and technology of US LBM, will allow us to do great things for many years to come,” he added.
Ridout Lumber celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2021.
The company, which also includes Arkansas Wholesale Lumber Company, was started by the Ridout Family in 1971 and joined US LBM, a leading distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, in 2017.
